Actalent in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Project Scheduler to join a growing Project Controls team for energy, infrastructure and construction projects. You will develop schedules, analyze performance, and drive on-time delivery in collaboration with PMs, Engineers, and Contractors.

Are you a Scheduler who loves seeing projects come together from concept to completion? We're looking for a Project Scheduler to join a growing Project Controls team supporting major energy, infrastructure, and construction projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile capital projects while partnering with Project Managers, Engineers, Contractors, Cost Engineers, and Construction Leaders to drive successful project delivery. You'll play a critical role in developing schedules, analyzing project performance, identifying risks, and helping teams keep projects on track and on budget.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
Create post-construction as-built schedules and lessons learned reports
Analyze critical path activities, schedule risks, and project performance
Support planning, forecasting, resource loading, and cash flow reporting
Conduct schedule updates through collaboration with project teams and site personnel
Partner with Project Managers, Cost Engineers, Estimators, and Contractors to align schedule, scope, and budget
Support project controls initiatives through schedule analysis and reporting
Utilize tools such as Primavera P6, Excel, Bluebeam, and Procore
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
3 years of scheduling experience supporting construction, EPC, or industrial projects
Strong experience with Primavera P6
Background in Project Controls, Construction Management, or Cost Controls
Experience with Excel, Bluebeam, and Procore
Ability to develop, analyze, and maintain complex project schedules
Energy, Power, Renewables, Industrial, or Infrastructure project experience preferred
Work on diverse projects across Power & Renewables, Nuclear, Industrial, Transportation, Water, and Commercial sectors

Collaborate with a team of experienced Project Controls professionals

This is a Permanent position based out of Birmingham, AL.
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $62.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
