Job summary

Rush Copley Medical Center in Illinois is seeking a Scheduling & Registration Clerk for outpatient radiology and pre-certification support. You will answer incoming calls, route inquiries to the appropriate department, and assist patients with exam preparation requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma (Associate’s degree preferred) and excellent oral communication. Bilingual Spanish abilities are highly desirable and knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Position Summary

Responsible for scheduling outpatient radiology services, outpatient registration, and pre-certification of insurance benefits. Answers incoming calls and fields them to the appropriate department or individual. Responds to general outpatient requests.

Hours/Shift

Monday 830-5:00, Wednesday 830-5:00, Friday 730-4:00 + every other Wednesday or Thursday 830-5:00
OR
Monday — Thursday 10:00 -330 and Friday 10:00 -4:00.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) abilities highly desirable.
• Must have excellent oral communications in order to solicit information and provide exam preparation requirements to patients and families.
