What You’ll Do
- Manage Staff Scheduling: Efficiently create, maintain, and adjust schedules to ensure optimal coverage across departments.
- Support Self-Scheduling Initiatives: Assist employees in utilizing self-scheduling tools while ensuring proper coverage and compliance with policies.
- Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with department managers to anticipate and fulfill staffing needs.
- Utilize Scheduling Software: Leverage scheduling tools to streamline shift management, including self-scheduling platforms.
- Resolve Conflicts Proactively: Address scheduling conflicts and last-minute changes with quick-thinking solutions.
- Communicate Clearly & Effectively: Ensure all staff members are informed of schedules, updates, and policy changes.
- Enhance Scheduling Efficiency: Contribute to policy development and process improvements for better workforce management.
- Support HR & Administration: Provide additional administrative assistance as needed.
What You Bring To The Table
- Scheduling Experience: Prior experience in staff scheduling, preferably in healthcare or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Self-Scheduling Expertise: Familiarity with self-scheduling platforms and processes to help employees manage their shifts efficiently.
- Organizational Superpowers: Ability to manage multiple priorities, ensuring coverage, compliance, and efficiency.
- Tech-Savvy Approach: Familiarity with scheduling software, self-scheduling platforms, and MS Office Suite.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly coordinate with staff, resolve concerns, and maintain professionalism.
- Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and flexibility to adjust to evolving staffing needs and priorities.
- Understanding of Healthcare Staffing: Knowledge of healthcare staffing regulations is a definite plus.
