Job summary

American Legacy Theatre seeks a Scenic/Properties Designer for Bridge City, an original full-length musical focused on community and the Black experience. The designer will create, plan and execute a high-quality scenic experience that supports the actors and heightens audience engagement.

Rehearsals are five days per week from March 9 to April 9, including weekends and some evenings. Tech rehearsals begin early April; performances run April 10–12, 17–19, and 24–26, with Friday/Saturday evenings

Responsibilities

• The Scenic/Properties Designer will create, plan and execute the steps required to implement a high quality scenic experience that enhances the message of the musical, bolsters the actors, leverages space, and heightens audience engagement with the piece.
• ALT staff will be available to assist with critical components along the way.
