Job summary

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least three years of experience in scenic arts or design. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in theatrical production or design or relevant experience.
• 3 years of experience in the field including classroom experience.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights and in enclosed, dark spaces.
• Willingness to use proper personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Scenic Art Supervisor to achieve production goals throughout the season.
• Complete scenic units per the build and paint schedule.
• Lead non-artists in executing paint treatments.
• Prepare load-in and touch-up kits for productions.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Attend necessary production and company meetings.
