Job summary

American Legacy Theatre in Cincinnati is seeking a Costume Designer for Bridge City, an original full-length musical developed through our Playwright’s for Change program. You will create and execute costumes that reinforce the show’s message and support the performers.

Rehearsals run March 9–April 9, with performances April 10–12, 17–19, and 24–26. ALT staff will assist with key components, and attendance at production meetings is expected.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and execute costumes that enhances the message of the musical, bolsters the actors, leverages space, and heightens audience engagement with the piece.
• Attend production meetings and collaborate with the team; understanding of staging is a given.
