Job summary

TEKsystems in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a contract workstation refresh technician to image and deploy Windows 10/11 desktops. You will start in imaging rooms and coordinate with teams on refresh cycles, imaging 5–10 desktops per day, on-site at the client site.

Preferred candidates have SCCM imaging experience, Active Directory workstation management, and the ability to step into company processes with minimal training.

• Strong familiarity with Windows 10/11 environments and AD management.

Responsibilities

Description

The project involves the deployment of new desktop and laptop workstations to replace out-of-warranty devices. Please note that both the existing and replacement workstations are running Windows 11. SCCM imaging experience is preferred to walk in with little direction and image 5+ pc daily.

Regular time 7am-4pm (there could be some odd start times due to the teams they would be conducting the refresh on but it is not a regular occurrence).

Start off imaging desktops in their imaging room, once that is done they plan ahead with the teams they are completing the refresh work with.

Image through the network with Microsoft SCCM.

They replace 5-10 desktop each day so they need to have experience refreshing to that amount/volume per day.

Prior workstation refresh / deployment experience.

Experience performing hardware replacements and PC refreshes.

Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments at the enterprise level.

Working knowledge of: Microsoft SCCM; Active Directory workstation management.

Candidates should be able to step into the role with little training beyond company‑specific processes and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Windows SCCM imaging and device deployment.

Project Details

Workstation refresh initiative nearing completion. Candidate will assist with hardware replacement and deployment activities.

Expected productivity benchmark is approximately 5+ deployments per day.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
