Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Two years’ experience in firefighting, DFS, hazardous materials tech, commercial driving, or fire service leadership.
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License is required.
• Current Scott Air Supplied Product Technician certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Works primarily in Air room within the Cribroom and around campus.
• Maintains and repairs SCBA used in recruit and agency programs.
• Diagnoses, repairs and maintains SCBA to ensure inventory is ready for use.
• Keeps SCBA and related equipment maintained with proper documentation and reporting.
• Conducts fit testing and maintains records and reports for DFA, Crib Coordinator and Technician Team.
