Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a meticulous team member in Columbus, OH to handle shelf tag preparation, pricing audits, and signage compliance. You will support changes over, pricing accuracy, and signage integrity while maintaining high standards of customer service.

The role requires retail experience, strong math and computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced store environment. This position includes flexible hours to cover mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires 12+ months of retail experience commonly found in grocery environments.
• Strong knowledge of scanning processes, systems and technologies is essential.
• Proficiency with computer applications including MS Office, email, and WFM tools is required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to deliver clear, respectful information to teammates, customers and vendors.
• Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions.
• Ability to follow directions, manage time, and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Prints and sorts shelf tags and ensures alignment with price active dates.
• Maintains and audits tag strip, signs, and signage for accuracy.
• Audits Country of Origin and organic signage.
• Follows SSS requirements for Sales Changeovers and other WFM SOPs.
• Completes audit reports noting discrepancies and actions.
• Troubleshoots scanning issues and reports to Regional Data Team.
• Audits tare weights and assists with master tare sheet maintenance.
• Supports Weights and Measures inspections and corrective actions.
• Enforces regional pricing and product authorization policies.
• Assists in auditing POS codebooks and provides inventory support.
• Works with leadership on scan accuracy and pricing goals.
• Guides proper tag hanging and signage to Team Members.
• Assists with signage ordering and distribution and ensures timely removal.
• Provides basic support on WFM applications (IRMA, DVO, MARS, ePlum).
• Remains punctual, groomed, and prepared for shifts and trainings.
• Delivers excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and proper sanitation practices.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; validates signs and prices.
• Reports safety hazards and violations promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
