Job summary

MAC.BID is hiring a Scanner Associate in Canton, OH to support on-site listing of customer returns and overstock items. You will use our internal scanning system to create accurate online auction listings and help maintain product data quality.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires lifting up to 25 pounds, standing for long periods, and following written directions. Benefits include weekly pay, 401(k) with employer match after 90 days, PTO after 90 days, and a referral program.

Qualifications

• On-site availability with Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, 50 pounds with teamwork.

SCANNER ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The S can T eam uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. This position reports to the Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scan items quickly and thoroughly into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete information for each item
• Responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
