Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Scanline Floater to inspect and categorize inbound products, test basic electronics, and move items for scanning and storage. You will support the team in meeting quantity and quality goals while maintaining a clean, organized area.

The role is on-site, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, and the job requires lifting up to 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team.

Qualifications

• Must be tech-savvy and able to follow written directions.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift during shifts.
• On-site availability and ability to lift 25 lbs alone, 50 lbs with team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move products to the conveyor for scanning and to bays for storage.

Job description

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scanline Floater prepares and positions products for the scan team, as well as removes scanned products and puts them away according to our system. This position reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
• Move products to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
• Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site.Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
