Job summary

MAC.BID in Warren, OH is hiring a Scanline Floater to prepare and position products for the scan team and remove scanned products. You will move items to bays and shelves by auction/lot number, supporting the auction process end-to-end.

The role is full-time, hourly, non-exempt, with on-site work schedule Monday–Friday 8am–4pm. Must be able to lift 25 lb alone (50 lb with team) and be tech-savvy; a high school diploma is preferred. Training provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound products for defects
• Categorize products as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess condition
• Move products to the conveyor for scanners
• Remove scanned products from the area promptly
• Place products in bays on shelves by auction/lot number
• Help the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from bays and scanning area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scanline Floater prepares and positions products for the scan team, as well as removes scanned products and puts them away according to our system. This position reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
• Move products to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
• Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:
