Job summary

MAC.BID in North Las Vegas is seeking a Scanline Floater to prepare and position products for the scan team and to store scanned items. You will inspect inbound goods, categorize condition, and move items to conveyors and bays according to auction lots.

This hourly, non-exempt position requires lifting up to 25 pounds solo and 50 pounds with a team, standing for extended periods, and following written instructions.

Qualifications

• Must be on-site with 8-hour shifts and Saturday options
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs alone, 50 lbs with team
• Tech-savvy and able to stand/walk for long periods
• High School Diploma preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound products for defects
• Categorize products as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
• Move products to bays, storing by auction and lot number
• Help the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scanline Floater prepares and positions products for the scan team, as well as removes scanned products and puts them away according to our system. This position reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
• Move products to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
• Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
