Job summary

MAC.BID in Jackson, TN, is looking for a Scanline Floater to support the scan team. This full-time hourly role prepares and positions products for scanning, moves items to bays, and maintains organization in the scanning area.

The position requires on-site availability, Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm, ability to lift up to 25 lbs (50 lbs with team lift), and being tech-savvy. Benefits include healthcare after 60 days, weekly pay, 401(k) with match after 90 days, and 5 days PTO after 90 days.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess condition
• Move products to the conveyor for scanners to process
• Remove scanned products from the scanning area quickly
• Place products in bays according to auction and lot number
• Help the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from bays and scanning area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scanline Floater prepares and positions products for the scan team, as well as removes scanned products and puts them away according to our system. This position reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
• Move products to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
• Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
