MAC.BID is hiring for a Scanline Floater in Hamilton, OH. The role supports the scan team by preparing products, moving items to the conveyor, and shelving by auction and lot number. It reports to the Scan Team Lead and requires lifting, standing, and basic electronics testing.

Responsibilities include inspecting products, categorizing condition, and ensuring quality and quantity goals are met. On-site position with full-time hours and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• On-site availability required (Mon-Fri 8:00am–4:30pm).
• Must be able to lift 25 lb alone, 50 lb with a team.
• Tech-savvy; comfortable with basic electronics testing.
• Able to stand and walk for hours at a time.

Responsabilités

• Inspect inbound products for defects.
• Categorize products as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged.
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess condition.
• Move products to conveyor for scanners.
• Remove scanned products promptly from scanning area.
• Place products in bays by auction and lot number.
• Help team meet quantity and quality goals.
• Sweep and remove trash from bays and mobile scan area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scanline Floater prepares and positions products for the scan team, as well as removes scanned products and puts them away according to our system. This position reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
• Move products to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
• Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

• Availability to work on-site. Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
