Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a field position in Fayette County where you will scale loose rock from underground mine walls and ceilings to maintain safe working conditions. The role involves operating scaling equipment in confined spaces and performing routine inspections with a strong safety mindset.

You will communicate maintenance needs, conduct basic checks, and collaborate with teammates to ensure safe and productive quarry operations in variable weather and demanding conditions.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level

What We Offer

• $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate
