Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a heavy equipment operator to support plant and quarry operations across U.S. sites. You will operate loaders, haul trucks, drillers and scalers, monitor material flow, and help maintain safe production.

We offer $27.33 per hour with an underground rate of $0.50, a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments, and union benefits including medical, dental, vision and pension, plus paid vacation, sick leave and holidays.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate various types of heavy equipment including loaders, haul trucks, drillers and scalers
• Perform general labor tasks to support plant and quarry operations
• Assist with routine maintenance and inspections of equipment and facilities
• Monitor material flow and ensure safe, efficient production
• Adapt to changing tasks and priorities throughout the workday

Conditions of Employment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
