Job summary

Leidos seeks a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead Agile Release Train processes across multiple projects and teams. The role involves configuring SAFe to the Task Order, standardizing practices, and delivering value to the customer.

The candidate will facilitate PI planning, track feature execution, manage risks, and collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure strategy alignment and effective delivery.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required with SCI access prior to Day One; U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Experience scaling agile practices and aligning development teams.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Establish and communicate calendars for program increments (PI).
• Facilitate PI planning readiness and planning events.
• Lead and facilitate PI planning events.
• Assist in tracking feature and capability execution.
• Help manage risks and dependencies across teams and environments.
• Provide input on resourcing to address bottlenecks.
• facilitate estimation by teams for features and capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Task Order Management, and stakeholders for alignment.
• Demonstrate strong briefing skills with senior customer management.
