Job summary

etchinc in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Process Engineer to bridge R&D and execution for a novel graphite production process moving from bench/pilot to integrated production. You will apply mass and energy balances, equipment sizing, safety and operability considerations, and scale-up principles to guide experiments toward industrially executable designs.

You will own the PFD and mass/energy balance across inputs, utilities, and waste streams, and contribute through detailed engineering,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of process engineering experience in development, R&D, and detailed engineering.
• Experience with PFD, mass and energy balances, and scale-up.
• Ability to work across R&D, engineering, procurement, and construction.

Responsibilities

• Partner with R&D to design experiments and analyze data.
• Develop mass/energy balances from lab data.
• Own integrated PFD and basis of design.
• Review vendor equipment and assist in procurement.
• Support commissioning and site start-up.
