Job summary

PowerToFly is looking for a Senior Scientist II in South San Francisco to join the Downstream Development team. The role focuses on leading laboratory-based scale-up activities and optimizing downstream processes for biologic drug substances.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in biologics development, technical leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience with a B.S., or 10+ years with an M.S., or 4+ years with a Ph.D.
• Significant experience in biologics CMC environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in process scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Lead downstream scale-up lab activities.
• Collaborate with project purification representatives.
• Mentor junior scientists and manage direct reports.
