DecisionPoint is seeking a Performance & Resilience Test Engineer to evaluate scalability, stability, and recovery of mission-critical software supporting the USMEPCOM ENLIST program. The role develops diverse test types, creates realistic workload models, and provides evidence-based recommendations for release readiness and capacity planning.

Qualifications

Experience in designing and executing performance, load, stress, endurance, and resilience tests.
Ability to analyze workloads, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimization strategies.
Strong collaboration across software, CI/CD, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain performance, load, stress, spike, endurance, volume, scalability, failover, and recovery tests.
Build automated regression, API, and integration tests to support repeatable performance validation.
Analyze workflows, usage patterns, and transaction volumes to model realistic workloads.
Define objectives, baselines, thresholds, and measurable results for performance tests.
Prepare test data, scripts, and configurations; execute tests across environments and pipelines.
Produce reproducible results, logs, reports, and metrics with evidence of behavior under varied conditions.
Identify bottlenecks across applications, databases, networks, and infrastructure; coordinate root-cause analysis.
