Qualifications

• 2+ years of performance testing/engineering experience with web apps and distributed systems.
• Hands-on with performance testing tools like k6, JMeter, or Gatling.
• Familiarity with Locust or similar load testing tools.
• Solid understanding of load, stress, and spike testing.
• Intermediate English proficiency (B1+).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to performance testing and performance engineering strategy based on architecture and NFRs.
• Translate NFRs into measurable performance criteria, test scenarios, workload models, and success thresholds.
• Execute load, stress, spike, endurance/soak, scalability, and capacity tests across web apps, APIs, and backend services.
• Develop and maintain automated performance test scripts using existing frameworks.
• Test performance of HTTP/REST and gRPC-based APIs and services.
• Build workload models based on expected user volumes and production-like behavior.
• Analyze performance across stack and identify bottlenecks; participate in root-cause analysis.
• Validate behavior under normal, peak, and sustained workloads; measure KPIs.
• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD to detect regressions early.
• Produce clear performance test reports and communicate release criteria status.
• Support capacity planning for applications and AWS infra scalability.
