Job summary

Kanza Cooperative Association is seeking Seasonal Scale Operators for the fall harvest season. You will play a key role in providing excellent customer service by accurately operating the grain scale and assisting with daily operational and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing payments, and handling sales tickets while following safety policies. A flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, may be required to support harvest activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Ability to operate a grain scale and enter data accurately.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in ticketing and payments.

Responsibilities

• Be available for flexible schedule, including varying days and overtime as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.

Join our team for the fall harvest season! We're seeking Seasonal Scale Operators who will play a key role in providing excellent customer service by accurately operating the scale and assisting with daily operational and maintenance tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)

• Greet customers in a positive, courteous manner and provide excellent customer service.
• Operate the scale, probe grain, take samples, enter sales tickets, and process customer payments accurately.
• Assist with facility operations, including loading vehicles, maintaining cleanliness, painting, and performing general maintenance tasks.
• Complete all paperwork and reports accurately and on time, while complying with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, promote a safe work environment, and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including varying days, shifts, and overtime as needed.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills and maintain regular, reliable attendance.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
