Description
The Grain Scale Operator's responsibilities involve scale operations, customer service, communications, clerical tasks, basic grain accounting and other duties as assigned. Operator is responsible for all commodity inbound and outbound tasks and assisting with grain grading and sampling tasks. You must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. It is important to represent the company in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times when providing exceptional customer service.
Pay: $19-$21/hour based on experience. A seasonal bonus may be provided based on attendance and performance at the end of the completed harvest season.
This is a full-time seasonal position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours. Additional hours are mandatory during peak seasons.
