Job summary

Nucor Corporation's Texas Port Recycling LLC in Houston is seeking a customer service oriented associate responsible for cash handling, order processing, and shipment coordination in an industrial setting.

You will follow safety procedures, work with customers, and support daily reconciliations; bilingual Spanish preferred; hours Monday-Friday with some Saturday half shifts; $21–24 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2 years' cash handling and direct customer service experience.
• High School diploma; college degree preferred.
• Basic math, account reconciliation, computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers.
• Flexible to work off hours, weekends and holidays in an industrial outdoor environment.
• Monday-Friday with a half day Saturday shift as needed.
• Bilingual preferred - Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety practices including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Obtains required information from customers for all transactions, completes required purchasing and shipping documents, and conducts daily reconciliations.
• Reviews all documents to ensure regulatory and company requirements are met.
• Coordinate shipments (rail and truck), maintain safety records.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
