Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a team member for the 2nd shift to manage weight accuracy in packaging. Responsibilities include adjusting product counts to meet weight targets and verifying each bag’s weight before packaging. You will place completed bags in boxes near the hopper scale and ensure precise weighing and labeling while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires adherence to safety, quality and food safety standards, with additional duties assigned by the supervisor as needed.

Qualifications

• Must follow all Tyson safety & hygiene policies/procedures.
• Must be able to lift heavy items.
• Must be able to stand and walk the entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Add or remove products as needed to achieve the required weight.
• Verify that each bag meets weight specifications before packaging.
• Place completed bags into designated boxes located beside the hopper scale.
• Ensure accurate weighing and labeling of products.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety, quality, food safety, and production standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
