Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a weighmaster to operate a large truck scale, process paperwork, and ensure proper disposal methods for materials brought in by customers. The role requires attention to regulatory documentation and collaboration with the customer service team.

Shifts include M-F 12pm-9pm and every 6th Saturday 6am-12pm. Training is provided; full benefits start on day one. The position offers room for growth and a safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in building materials industry preferred.
• 1 year of scale operations, dispatching and trucking operations preferred.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills required.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends/overtime if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate scale house and weigh materials.
• Schedule and direct trucks.
• Maintain paperwork and regulatory/ accounting documentation.
• Collaborate with sales and dispatch teams.
• Respond to customer needs and inquiries.
• Handle cash sales documentation and checks.
