Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor scale equipment to accurately measure and record the weight of materials and products.
• Process and maintain detailed records of all weighing transactions, including tickets, documentation, and data entry.
• Assist customers and drivers with weighing procedures and answer questions regarding the process.
• Verify the accuracy of all measurements and ensure compliance with weight standards and regulations.
• Maintain the scale house facility in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on weighing equipment and report any malfunctions or calibration issues to supervisors.
• Process payment transactions and manage cash or digital payment systems as required.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while performing duties.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding operational issues or discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment problems and elevate complex issues to maintenance personnel.
