Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking a maintenance technician to uphold and repair scales and electronic equipment across the plant. You will learn state and federal codes related to scales and provide engineering solutions to boost production and lower costs.

The role requires self-motivation, ability to tackle projects, and strong problem-solving for production support. English communication is essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing/repairing printers and labelers, including direct and thermal transfer.
• Experience diagnosing/repairing scales per state and federal codes.
• Knowledge of metal detection systems and how to install them.
• Experience programming HMI software (Wonderware, RSView).
• Installation and diagnosis of variable frequency drives and servo drives.
• Strong knowledge of both AC and DC electrical systems.
• Electronics experience at the component level is a plus.
• Knowledge of barcode printing and scanning methods.

Responsibilities

• Upkeep and repair of scales and other electronic equipment plant-wide.
• Learn and apply state and federal codes related to scales.
• Provide creative engineering solutions to increase production and reduce costs.
• Lead or support projects and deadlines as needed to support production.
