Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment in our Canton, GA facility.

You will conduct emergency and scheduled repairs, read manuals, diagnose issues, and perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure safe, efficient plant operations. The role requires basic math, strong reading and writing skills, and the ability to work with various hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical school training is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly.
• Basic math and measurement skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.
• Provide emergency and scheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test adjustments.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
