Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter in the Town of Florida, New York. You will be responsible for designing, erecting, and dismantling scaffolds while leading a small crew and mentoring Carpenters.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and communication skills, and can work safely at heights. This position offers various benefits including health plans, a 401(k) match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a Scaffold E&D Carpenter or equivalent experience.
• Some trade school education preferred but not required.

Job Description Summary

Lead Carpenter responsible for designing, erecting, and dismantling scaffolds, leading a small crew, and mentoring the Scaffold E&D Carpenters.

Responsibilities

• Design and erect various types of scaffolds.
• Lead and coach a small crew to erect and dismantle scaffolding under the supervision of an E&D Foreman.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding.
• Maintain knowledge of scaffolding materials and load limits.
• Assist with crew management and quality control.

Qualifications & Experience

• Some trade school education preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years as a Scaffold E&D Carpenter or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work comfortably and safely at significant heights.
• Bilingual capability is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Physical Demands

Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required.

Base Pay Range: $18.99 - 23.74
