Sunbelt Rentals in Colorado Springs is seeking a Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter to design and erect various scaffold types and mentor the Scaffold E&D Carpenters on site. This leadership role requires hands-on work with tools and a commitment to safety.

You will manage a small crew under supervision, ensure OSHA compliance, and monitor load limits. Strong pref in trade school, with 2+ years scaffold experience; bilingual a plus; a willingness to work at height and in diverse environments is

Qualifications

• Some trade school preferred but not required.
• Scaffold E&D Carpenter for a minimum of 2 years or approved equivalent experience.
• Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
• Bilingual a plus.

Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter

Sunbelt Rentals – the fastest growing rental business in North America – is seeking a Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter.

Designs and erects various types of scaffolds. Lead Carpenter must act as a mentor and coach to the Scaffold E&D Carpenters to aid in their development. Lead Carpenter is required to work with tools.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively manage a small crew to erect and dismantle various types of scaffolding under the supervision of an E&D Foreman 2 on site.
• Apply knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding.
• Ensure scaffolding load limits are not exceeded by understanding materials and loads.
• Use and maintain various types of scaffolding materials.

Physical Demands

Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $20.89 - $26.11 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on factors including position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
