Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Scaffold E&D Carpenter to join our field team in New Orleans, LA.

This role supports the Lead Carpenter/Foreman by stacking scaffolding materials, counting inventory, and preparing materials for shipment, while mentoring junior helpers to develop skills and safety practices. Applicants should have some trade school background, at least 1 year as Scaffold E/D Helper 2 or equivalent experience, and the ability to work safely at heights.

Qualifications

• Some trade school preferred but not required.
• Scaffold E/D Helper 2 for a minimum of 1 year or approved equivalent experience.
• Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the stacking and counting of scaffolding materials on site.
• Assist the Lead Carpenter and/or Foreman by mentoring E/D Helpers 1 and 2.
• Prepare material to be shipped and ensure proper handling on site.
