Responsibilities

• Read a tape measure and work with hand tools.
• Assist the foreman in documenting the job.
• Mentor new employees in safety practices and tasks.
• Identify emergency equipment and signage.
• Participate in JSEA for each job and changes in scope.
• Maintain professional interaction with crew and customers.
• Follow all safety rules and worksite guidelines.
• Conduct inventory and rack, stack, and band materials.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolds in tight spaces.
• Inspect and update scaffold tags daily.
• Maintain housekeeping practices.
• Perform safe rigging duties.
• Follow OSHA 1926.451 for scaffold construction/dismantling.
• Assist with rigging and safety tasks.
• Design scaffolds for safe access to work areas.
• Immediately report incidents to supervisor.
• Supply scaffold identification.
• Learn and use scaffold hand signals.
