Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking workers to erect and dismantle scaffolding, rig loads, and perform various construction tasks at sites across the region. The role requires reading blueprints, selecting tools, and ensuring safe, compliant operations on busy industrial sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with experience in the field or related area.
• Strong working knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and communicate with supervision.
• Proficient in safe use of electrical, hand, power, layout and measurement tools.
• Pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing, fit-for-duty medical, and background check.
• Observe safety and project rules and perform other duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope, locations, quantities, and sizes of materials.
• Identify tools required and measure, mark, and cut materials to specifications.
• Erect and disassemble scaffolding and install ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways.
• Construct, reinforce, and dismantle pre-constructed scaffolds.
• Build and construct wooden scaffolds and auxiliary items.
• Perform work involving rigging of equipment loads.
