Job summary

AIS Infrastructure Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking reliable Scaffold Builder (Metal Mechanics) to install insulation and metal scaffolds on industrial projects. The role offers hands-on learning and room for growth in a safety‑conscious team.

You will measure, cut, and install materials, work at heights, lift heavy items, and communicate with crew and supervisors. Outdoor work, PPE required, and adherence to safety procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work at heights, and use ladders and scaffolding.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with or perform the installation of metal piping and various types of insulation.
• Measure, cut, and shape materials using hand and power tools.
• Install metal and insulation in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Ensure work is completed to quality standards and job specifications.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Load and unload tools and materials on job sites.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers.
