Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder Helper at the Pasadena, TX site. This hourly on-site role assists Scaffold Builders with construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding and other temporary structures, following OSHA requirements and site rules.

Duties include transporting materials, erecting scaffolds, hoisting components, securing and leveling sections, and supporting safety measures such as barricades, fire watch, and confined-space procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial environment is preferred.
• Able to read and follow safety procedures and site rules.
• Comfortable working at heights and in construction settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist scaffold builders with construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding.
• Transport materials, hoist components, and secure scaffold to structures as directed.
• Assist with securing, leveling, and barricading work areas; support fire watch and confined-space duties.
