Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder Helper to assist Scaffold Builders in constructing, maintaining, and dismantling tubular scaffolding and other temporary structures. You’ll work at heights, transport materials, and help ensure safe, compliant operations on site.

No formal education is required; 6+ months of industrial experience is preferred. A valid TWIC card and driver’s license are required.

• Assist Scaffold Builders in construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.
• Work at heights with no fear and transport scaffold materials as directed.
• Hoist scaffolding materials and accurately erect temporary structures.
• Secure and level locking sections of scaffolding and anchor scaffolding to permanent structure for stability.
• Follow all OSHA/site-specific requirements for erecting and navigating scaffolding and pass tools to Journeymen as needed.
• Dismantle scaffolding when instructed and help build barricades around excavation or equipment as required.
• Perform duties as a confined space attendant, fire watch, or equipment watches attendant as needed.
