Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Scaffold Builder Helper in Louisiana to assist with the construction, dismantling, and repair of wooden and metal scaffolds. The role requires 12-16 months of related experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to work extended hours performing physically demanding tasks.

You will follow safety rules and company guidelines while working at heights, using ladders and man lifts, and adhering to fall protection requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have 12-16 months of scaffold builder helper experience.
• Must have knowledge on materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and form construction.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work full work schedule and any additional overtime.
• Must be willing to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Must follow all company and site rules and regulations.
• Must meet all physical requirements (standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting above head).
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and work off platforms with fall protection.

Responsibilities

• Identify tools required for tasks.
• Identify safety risks and precautions to eliminate those risks.
• Measure, mark, and cut required wooden/metallic materials to specifications.
• Assist with construction, reinforcement, and dismantling of pre-constructed scaffolds.
• Assist with the building and construction of wooden scaffolds.
