Job summary

Turner Industries seeks a Scaffold Builder in Pass Christian, MS. This non-exempt role reports to a frontline supervisor and involves assembling, positioning, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding per job specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–4 years of experience in the skilled trade (level dependent).
• NCCER certification is a plus.
• Ability to read engineered drawings.
• Ability to operate different types of forklift.
• Pre-employment qualification test.
• Post-employment drug/alcohol screen and medical evaluation.
• Adherence to client safety requirements and PPE.
• May need to provide toolbox and basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect surface for holes, objects, and levelness.
• Assemble scaffold, including guardrails, braces, planks and components.
• Position scaffold by rolling or erecting in place.
• Secure scaffold to permanent structures as required.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
