Qualifications

• High school or equivalent is required.
• 1–4 years of experience in the stated skill set depending on mechanic level.
• NCCER certification is a plus.
• Ability to read engineered drawings preferred.
• Ability to operate different types of forklift.
• Pre-employment qualification test is required.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Site safety requirements per client (e.g., PPE, clean shaven).
• Safety equipment as required (hard hat, glasses, gloves, respirator, harness).
• Applicant must not pose a direct health/safety threat.

Responsibilities

• Inspects surface for holes and levelness and assembles scaffold components per specifications.
• Positions scaffold by rolling or erecting in place and secures to permanent structure as needed.
• Per supervisor's direction, performs other assembly types (guardrails, etc.).
