Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Scaffold Builder in Decatur, AL. This non-exempt, full-time role involves assembling, positioning, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding to precise specifications under a frontline supervisor. Candidates should have 1–4 years of scaffolding experience and the ability to read engineered drawings; forklift operation is a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–4 years of scaffolding experience (level dependent).
Ability to read engineered drawings preferred.
Forklift operation experience or ability to operate forklifts.
National Certification preferred (may be required by client).

Adhere to safety requirements and policies.

Responsibilities

Inspect surfaces for holes and levelness.
Assemble scaffolding according to specifications (guardrails, braces, planks, etc.).
Position and secure scaffold; wheel into place or erect in place.
Coordinate with supervisor for assignments and adjust as needed.
