Job summary

The Brock Group Inc. is seeking a Scaffold Apprentice in Lima, OH to assist in building, dismantling, staging and modifying scaffolding components at the Lima Refinery site. You will learn proper tools, safety practices and job specifications under a dedicated mentor.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, identifying scaffolding materials, maintaining material organization, and completing required safety paperwork while traveling as needed. Full-time position with physical requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years scaffold experience preferred.
• Ability to read specifications and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Promote Brock's safety culture (Bsafe/Bbest) in all activities.
• Comply with manufacturer specifications.
• Work with mentor per SSW program to learn tools and procedures.
• Follow Brock, contractor and government safety requirements.
• Perform work per contractor specifications.
• Take direction from Scaffold Journeyman/Foreman to learn tools and equipment.
• Develop ability to read blueprints/specifications.
