Job summary

The Brock Group Inc. in Texas is seeking a Scaffold Builder to assemble, dismantle, stage and modify scaffolding components at the Phillips 66 Sweeny refinery site, supporting maintenance and construction projects across North America.

This full-time position requires strict safety adherence, physical endurance, and the ability to take direction from supervision while keeping work areas organized and compliant with Brock’s Bsafe and Bbest culture.

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass Brock and/or Safety Council Site Specific Orientation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build, demo, stage and modify components of scaffolding.
• Promote, demonstrate and instill Brock’s Bsafe and Bbest culture in all aspects of the business.
• Comply with all manufacturer’s specifications.
• Ensure following Brock, Contractor’s, and governmental safety requirements.
• Take direction from the supervisor.
• Identify the type of scaffolding material to be used for the job (frame, tube & clamp, system).
• Sort and organize material.
• Place and receive orders for material.
• Complete safety paperwork such as FLRA’s, Sharp Cards, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
