Job summary

NEW BRAUNFELS UTILITIES seeks an Electric SCADA Administrator to support and maintain a 24/7 real-time SCADA system for the electric distribution network. You will work with engineers, operations staff, and contractors to ensure reliability, performance, and seamless integration of new technologies.

The role requires five years or more of related experience, a field of study in Computer Science or related area, and hands-on experience with SurvalentONE ADMS, SQL Server, and networking protocols

Qualifications

• Five years or more experience in a related field.
• Formal education in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with SurvalentONE ADMS is required.
• Understanding substation diagrams and electrical field instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support a 24/7 real-time SCADA control system.
• Develop screens and one-line diagrams for substations.
• Collaborate with control center staff and engineers.
• Analyze data, perform testing, and generate reports.
• Assist with integration of new technologies and standards.
