Job summary

Loudoun Water in Ashburn, Virginia seeks a highly motivated SCADA System Developer (Analyst) to help design data visualization and situational awareness for the water utility.

The role configures and implements industrial control system solutions for PLCs and SCADA, develops graphics, manages alarms, and integrates disparate systems with SCADA software.

Candidates with programming experience, knowledge of networking, and a willingness to work on-call or overtime are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Two years of college-level coursework in computer control systems and networking.
• One year progressive experience in industrial control systems.
• Preferably in water distribution and sewer utility operations.
• Knowledge of networking, SCADA applications, and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Configure and implement industrial control system solutions for PLCs, SCADA, building automation, and process control.
• Develop graphics, alarm management, and systems integration.
• Familiarity with SCADA software (Wonderware, ICONICS, FactoryTalk Studio) and PLCs.
• Ability to work on-call status and/or overtime as needed.
