Job summary

Energy Transfer LP in Houston, TX, is seeking a SCADA Associate Specialist to perform system support and maintenance for a pipeline SCADA system, including troubleshooting and 24x7 on-call rotation. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS or engineering or equivalent, 0–2+ years of SCADA experience, and familiarity with OASyS DNA; .NET, SQL Server, VB and VC++ are highly desirable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent).
0–2+ years of experience with SCADA systems.
OASyS DNA SCADA experience is a plus, other SCADA systems acceptable.
Experience with pipeline operations, measurement technologies, and networking is preferred.
Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide 24x7 support to the Control Center on a rotational basis.
Perform system support and maintenance for a pipeline SCADA system.
Document changes and follow change management procedures.
Collaborate with Engineering, CRM and Control Center on SCADA integration.
Troubleshoot data and communications with field technicians and remote devices.
Coordinate with Network group to validate communications and ensure system reliability.
