Job summary

Prime Partners is seeking a SCADA Manager to lead our SCADA engineering team with a focus on people leadership and strategic growth. You will own hiring, coaching, development, and retention, and you will set clear performance goals for the team.

This role is not hands-on engineering; you will judge quality, plan headcount, and drive processes to scale the SCADA function in alignment with company objectives. Strong communicators thrive here.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in SCADA/OT environments.
• 3+ years directly managing engineers or technical staff.
• Experience owning budgets and portfolio delivery.
• Familiar with Ignition, AVEVA, Wonderware, FactoryTalk or Iconics.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering/CS or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Hire, onboard, develop, and retain SCADA engineers at all levels.
• Set performance expectations and team goals, track progress.
• Conduct regular one-on-ones and performance reviews.
• Build succession depth to avoid single-point risk.
• Own workforce planning and headcount forecasting.
• Define strategic direction for the SCADA group.
• Oversee operations, SLAs, incidents, and improvements.
• Manage budget for training, tooling, and tech investments.
• Establish processes for quality, documentation, and delivery.
• Partner with architecture, security, and safety teams for compliance.
