Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a SCADA Developer to join our team in Spring, TX, onsite 3 days a week. You will drive migration of acquired assets into the Ignition platform, develop Perspective HMIs, and build automation tools for efficient integrations.

The role requires hands-on SCADA development, familiarity with Ignition, OPC servers, and data modeling, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and effective collaboration across vendors and operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SCADA development and administration.
• Experience migrating SCADA systems to Ignition is preferred.
• Oil and gas industry experience, Midstream focus favorable.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of acquired SCADA systems into Ignition platform.
• Assess SCADA architecture, tags, and HMI screens to define migration scope.
• Develop Ignition Perspective HMI screens, tags, and UDT structures.
• Configure polling engines and OPC servers to bring field data into Ignition.
• Create tools to automate tag/UDT creation and data mapping.
• Plan and execute production cutover with minimal disruption.
• Ensure MOC documentation and PHMSA control room tasks when required.
• Maintain system documentation and post-cutover support.
