Job summary

AUTOSOL is seeking an Ignition Integrator in Houston, TX. You will architect, develop, and implement Ignition projects, assist with pre-sales, design architectures, write scripts, and mentor teammates. This full-time role emphasizes hands-on deployment across multiple industries.

You will configure protocols, develop SQL databases, and work with Python/Java to deliver robust automation solutions. On-site presence in Houston is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Ignition.
• Experience configuring production and development environments.
• Gateway and project configuration experience.
• Experience developing scripts and UDTs within Ignition.
• Vision and Perspective UI design and deployment.
• Experience in Python/Java and databases (SQL Server/MySQL).
• Knowledge of RTUs, PLCs, MQTT and system integration.
• Public-facing client interaction and on-site work in Houston.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment phases from pre-sales to delivery and support.
• Design, implement, document, and support Ignition SCADA systems and third-party software.
• Integrate AUTOSOL software into solutions.
• Configure Modbus, OPC, ROC, TotalFlow, ControlLogix, MQTT.
• Develop SQL databases, tables, procedures, and queries.
• Write scripts to automate tasks and improve processes.
• Advise on customer-focused system architectures.
• Mentor and train internal and external teams.
• Communicate clearly to team members, sales, and customers.
• Maintain technical documentation and project timelines.
